8.14.2011 ~ Lots of Color, Lots of Love

Last August, Christine and Levi got married at Beckenridge Vineyards - which was beautiful as always.  This couple was so great to work with and were a joy to get to know - Christine and I hit it off right away! They wanted to make sure their guests had a great time at their wedding with good food, lots of dancing, plentiful drinks, and endless laughter - all of which was made possible by such amazing vendors. 

She bought her dress at the Bridal Gallery in Salem and fell in love with the staff there (who doesn't fall in love with the Bridal Gallery staff!?!). They helped with everything she needed, including extra ribbon she wanted to incorporate into her cake.   Her friend did her hair and makeup, Denice of Distinctive Designs did the stunning flowers (we LOVE working with her) to match their colorful theme perfectly, and all of the extra rental items were provided by Beckenridge. 

Now, as well all know, sometimes things don't go "according to plan," but that's what we're here for!  The prior hired baker was unable to follow through on their commitment - so we had 5 days to find a new cake decorator!  NutCakes was able to accommodate us, and she was SO great and easy to work with!  Plus - it was YUMMY!  The food?  Delicious as always, as Steve and his team from Capricorn Catering provided it all!  They work so seamlessly together and with the bartending staff at Beckenridge, which allowed Christine and Levi to keep their attention on their friends and family instead of what was happening behind the scenes. 

Valley Pro DJ and Sound kept the party going, and Jason Craig (503.930.8260) from Steady State Studios was there to capture all the special moments throughout the day! 

I think one of the sweetest memories I have of helping with this wedding was the tribute that Christine had to her sister when the guests walked in.  Her sister had passed away a few years prior, and it was such a beautiful way to honor and remember her. It was such a pleasure working with this great couple - a couple that has an amazing friendship as a base of their relationship.  Thanks for having me be a part of your lives you two!
